[FreshCo] {HOT} Chocolat covered almonds $6 instead of $10 for 900g

For the lovers of almonds and chocolate. 900g for $6, so that's $3/lbs. Cheap for almonds! Before Christmas was selling for $10.

In flyer started today.

He could be our RFD resident "Nutty guy" Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes

I'm expecting that OP will start a discussion thread "Ask me anything about nuts" in the near future Face With Tears Of Joy

Great price, the more important question is are they any good, anyone able to chime in on this?

Costco's Chocolate Covered Almonds set a pretty high standard for quality product so 1.5kg (3.3lbs) @ $15.99 is $4.85/lb

Keto-observant folks have been asking about the carb content of various plain nuts, here are their contents per 100g serving:

Naturally, any milk chocolate covering throws those numbers out the window.

God bless.

I actually got the Costco almonds last week. The chocolate, IMO, tastes like Hersheys chocolate which I really do not like. To me, it has a very artificial taste unlike European chocolate like Milka.

Yeah, but now that's a completely different ball game comparing european chocolate to north american, my cousin from german always complains about our chocolate here (I dont disagree) but you can't ways win the fight when you live here and pay those inflated prices on european chocolate.

BTW.. still have my milka chocolate I brought back home from europe and reluctantly holding off on opening them :D

Yeah, the asian food stores carry a lot of the international brand foods, Sunny's and Al Premium carry them.

Wish I could help you, but unfortunately taste is quite subjective. What I can tell you is that I bought 9 bags at $6. Try them so you can share with us your observations!
Most definitely :)

I don't like those from Costco. They taste cheap, and burnt.

Those from Johnvince are much better (Metro and RCSS sell them) and they on sale once a while at $3.99/lb, both regular and dark chocolate ones.

But can I price match at Walmart ?

Btw stay away from the presidents choice almonds at shoppers , that’s some cheap tasting chocolate... I was never picky about chocolate until the brook side chocolate deal from shoppers (free chocolate).
