Unless you want breaded wings, you are better off going to a grocery store, getting wings at $1.50-$2.50 a lb and airfrying or baking yourself,

Which stores do you pay $1.50 per pound?

Almost every week in a Chinese grocer.

Blue sky and Pacific Fresh every week are either $1.50 or $1.66/1,68

(before everyone loses their minds, its the same source as all the other poultry products, just not packaged as fancy)

Are you sure about that? The wing market is hotter then the breast market especially with hockey and football going on. I've got to check out Blue Sky at Jane and Wilson. The other Asian place I go to charges 2.99 or more, once in awhile Nations (StClair and Old Weston Road) charges $1.99 but for me to make the trip there I'd break even, it will cost me $10 of gas.

Air chilled verses regular chicken is a huge difference, your paying for atleast 30% water that the chicken retains when it's processed. I prefer roaster wings.

On a serious note, it is stated in the coupon fine print that reproduction isn't allowed, how the heck do we get ahold of the original coupon since this isn't a mobile coupon either and the store requires a physical coupon ?

I printed out 2 coupons and used them at Wal-Mart with no issue. Got them for $5.99 each.

I like the Jane's Salt and Pepper wings. Not bad for 5.99 but no way I would pay much more than that. As someone else pointed out they are lightly breaded.
I do them in an air fryer and they come out nice and crispy. Sauce is a waste in my opinion and just a way for the vendors to make the package look larger than it really is.

The issue will lay with the cashier that's not supposed to accept reproductions of the coupon. You got lucky with a dumb cashier.

Yeah I used to love their chicken tenders/fingers but now I stay away from them.

T&T right now has wings for $1.99 in the flyer. Price point wise, its still a better deal than janes, plus they aren't loaded up with added salt, sugar or brine solution. You aren't getting large wings by any stretch.

It's $1.99 at T&T this week in the GTA flyer, but yeah, I usually buy wings at the asian places. And T&T's are an acceptable size.

Just a bit better than western grocers at 4 or 5 bucks a pound. Just split them yourself. Or even don't.

Agreed.
Freshco, Bathurst and Steeles and Jane and Finch carry roaster wings, if you were to batter them like these retail packages they would be huge, the batter makes them double the size.

I wouldn’t expect any person to read all the fine print in the amount of time that customers expect their checkout to be completed. I don’t think it’s fair or decent to insult anyone’s intelligence like that.
