I haven't seen any Ontario corn yet, or at least not at a good price. When the Ontario stuff comes in season, I would expect to see this for around the $0.15 mark, but that'll be later on in the summer.

Not sure why anyone would think there would be any chance of Ontario corn this early in the season, especially with the cool and wet spring that lagged right through May. Most farms I have driven by seem behind in the growing season as such (greenhouses being the exception).

And not so sure growing corn in a greenhouse is worth it.

It's been a very wet and cool season. Most Ontario corn was planted late and is barely poking out of the ground right now. You won't see any local corn until mid August at the earliest.

Thanks OP! Grabbed $3 worth of corn today. The corn are noticeably bigger than the ones from Walmart at the beginning of season.

You might want to check out the pesticides (neonics) used on corn and soy. Bayer just purchased Monsanto. We all should be informed consumers.
