Fridge sounds like it's passing gas

As the title says. The fridge is making continuous noises that sound like passing gas or depressurizing near the top rear of the fridge when the doors are open. It's a 2 year old samsung double door fridge. At first I thought it was just gas coming out of my kimchi containers or pickles but it wasn't. Fridge works perfectly fine but I'm super puzzled by the noise. Anyone have any suggestions?

Your first mistake was buying a Samsung appliance.

Did you clean the condenser coils?

unfortunately the appliances came with the house.

I can't think of anything that would produce the farting sound on a fridge except some form of a (door open) warning device that has failed (a speaker or the electronic driver board).

Some fridges make a lot of noise when auto-defrosting, but ours is more of a clunking sound than a fart sound.

the fan which cools your fridge is located in the rear top (on the inside of the fridge).

its likely filling with ice inside the fan cavity, i suspect one day you will come home and find your fridge is not cooling in the fridge side.

lots of youtube videos on this issue if you are semi handy.
