Front hall runner for use on engineered hardwood

We are going to finally get our main floor reno started in about 10 days and we have to replace our old runners in the front hall. Over time they have rolled up on the edges, and it looks like some of the glue on the bottom has stuck to our ceramic floors. This is a generic brand like Multy, etc, bought everywhere

What do you guys suggest to use to avoid the glue issue, which clearly I want no part of on new floors? Obivously, nothing that will move around either, our hallway is not large

High quality rugs, and pick them up to mop once in a while (as in a couple times a week).
