[Future Shop] FS: 8GB Kingstons SDHC Class 4 - $19.99

not a bad price... unfortunately, no one to PM for a better price... kinda funny that I stumple on it through a craigslist posting where the guy was selling it for $60, and had a link to FS - clicked on it and it's $19.99.

picked up 2 of these at FS in South Keys on Saturday. Was picking up a Camera I had on hold and the guy mentioned this deal. Figured I would just buy a couple, as I could always return them if I didn't want them. Seems like a good price.

Return those cards. You can get a Class 6 version for $27 at RB Computing.

is there that big of a difference between 4 or 6mb/s? Bestbuy has a PNY 8gig for 19.99 plus tonight there will be 15% off so that will come down to 16$ or so if theres not that much difference might pick one of those up

For those who live in areas where stores like CC, NCIX don't exist, the price being offered by FS is a good deal.

Depends what you're using the memory card for. There are some brand named SDHC class 4 cards that perform just as well as class 6 cards from other manufacturers. If you're not using it in a DSLR or frequently writing large amounts of data to it at once (i.e. write speed is not a big concern), then class 4 should be just fine.

The ad is quite confusing, have to find out it's a Class 4 or Class 6.

Anyhow, does anyone here know which of the 2 is better than the other?

I would tend to believe the product number/SKU more than the picture. Seeing as how the number is OCZSDHC6-8GB...this would correspond to the class 6 card. Worst case scenario, just head over to Infonec if you're close by and take a look at the product yourself.

Considering NCIX's business is predominately online... it would if your computer was attached to a house that was attached to a postal code.

I live a few minutes drive from one NCIX store.. and not that far from another.
