[Future Shop] Lowepro Slingshot 202 AW SLR Camera Bag - $69.99

Hey Guys,

My first time posting. I just bought one of these myself and thought it was a good deal. I don't recall it being advertised anywhere, but FS does have it currently for $69

Cheers

What's wrong with putting $69.99 in the title??

"Great price" :facepalm:

in the future, instead of saying great price, put the price down. Include the store too, simply use the shortened names like FS, BB, TS etc.

Thanks Priestlydoolong! I've been eyeing a kata sling backpack for awhile as they never go on big sales. I would have loved the kata 3in1 20 but it's sold out online and not available in store in the GTA. So I bought the 30 for $79.99 and hope it's not too big. If anyone bought a kata 3in1 20 and doesn't want it PM me please.

I prefer Kata over lowepro for most bags.
Agree, I always preferred the Kata bags also, until I put my tripod on it and went hiking. Brutal. Returned the 3in1 and bought a Tamrac Evolution, twice as much, half the aggrevation.

The double slings are more comfortable, and the tripod mount is much better.

Your comparing a National Geographic Explorer DSLR Sling Camera Bag to a Lowepro Slingshot 202 AW SLR Camera Bag is not even close. The Lowepro is a great bag comfortable and the National Geographic Explorer is a price point bag that you'll regret owning after wearing it for 15 minutes. The Lowepro Slingshot 202 AW SLR Camera Bag is a good bag - you can find knock-offs even cheaper than this at ebay if $69 is too much. The Kata bag at Henry's is also a very good bag double straps add comfort - IMHO comes down to personal opinion worth trying them both on.

Agreed ... I have a KATA 3n1-30 and it is awesome. :) (Believe it is now discontinued).

Is the kata 3n1 30 equivalent in size (specifically width) compared to the Lowepro 202aw? I'm trying to gauge if the 30 is too big for me and I should be considering the 20.

The 3n1-30 is likely a lot bigger than the 202aw. See more comments and reviews for the 202aw here -> http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/6 ... amera.html
Overall, it comes down to quality, size and price. The 202aw has good reviews at B&H. Take a look at the FS gallery and imagine if the pack will fit all your gear or not ...

Some info on the Kata 3n1 20 (also seems larger than the 202aw?) -> http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/8 ... Sling.html

69.99 seems to be the regular price at BB.
