The 55" is a decent price with all you get, if you are looking for all of those things (i.e. you do not want to mount the TV on the wall, you do want a camera). The 60" jump is crazy though.

That same page links to sub-woofer for $99 Polk Audio AM1055-A 10" Subwoofer Is that any good? I need to assemble my new A/V setup and no clue where to start or what good/decent prices are?

You might want to go with the receiver first and then see what would be a good speaker match. Maybe the greatly reduced receiver + speakers packages offered during the holidays would be enough for your needs (not the cheapo HTIB)

I see Denon 1513 is now on sale for $249.99 which is US price. I am wondering if that price will go lower. I was thinking of getting a receiver with 2 speakers and 1 subwoofer. That setup should be alright for a condo.

You will need at least5.1 speakers to get that immersion feeling. This receiver will probably be bundled with a decent set of matching speakers come boxing week for around 299$-350$ This removes the guesswork of matching the speaker power yourself but the audiophile will tell you that it also takes all the fun out of buying audio equipment. If all you need is better-than-my-tv-speakers sound go with those home theaters in a box for 100$-150$ you get "barely ok" sound and there is no chance the sub will disturb your neighboors.

when the OLED's come out they will be close to the same expense as plasmas when they first came out i.e. almost 10k

OLED's are out soon, so maybe wait for Black Friday / Cyber Monday! Oh man, that's end of November. Maybe Halloween sale?
Its a nice thought but OLED tv's are going to be the top tier TV's for the next 2-3 years even though the cost to produce them is far less. Hands down, the colour of OLED looks superior to any LCD and plasma I've ever seen but the premium will be 500% the price of a good plasma/LCD.
Personally, I wouldn't even touch a OLED TV until they've released an 80" that is at least 2560x1600 with the digital media to support that resolution.

Sorry to divert the discussion, but anymore feedback on the deals in the original post?

Considering the 60", but I'm afraid there's a certain reason the bundle has such large price cuts.

Quality wise, I'm in no hurry to save a quick buck, so i'd rather pay a bit more/wait longer if needed, if this isn't an ' above average' setup.

Thanks.

I read that the Sony and Panasonic's next year will be cheaper to mass-produce and could bring them to half the prices. By 2014 they could be had possibly in the $2-$3k range and that's when I'll look to get one.

I am almost ready to buy this package, was considering the camera and TIB anyway - note that delivery is an extra $50 though.

Is this package considered good? And where do you guys find the 55" TV alone costs $1399 from BestBuy or Futureshop?

I had checked visions.ca $1298 for 55" and tempted to get it...
