Sale ends at 04 Jul. 2021, 23:59 ET.

S7 Keyboard is selling for $196 (or $186 via Perkopolis). Note: the keyboard is bilingual.

Personally I would recommend iPad Air or Pro, but it seems lots of people like S7.

For those buying keyboard covers be careful as some places only sell the Bilingual keyboard version. Specially when it comes as a bundle.

The s7+ with keyboard has been for 1000 a few times now. I think once through Samsung few weeks ago and Costco I think has this price?

This may be good if you want a regular S7 without keyboard though.

At least for the S7+, the only keyboards available in Canada are supposedly Bilingual and it's a very tough keyboard to deal with in terms of key placement / markings.

Seems so. Then maybe it's better to buy a US keyboard on eBay if somebody need/want one.

Yep, Samsung gave the royal middle finger salute to Canadians.

Good enough is good enough for Trudeau's Ice Kingdom.

Anyways, it's easy enough to get the Blessed All American Keyboard on this true Independence Day, the 4th of July.

Been trying but it's pretty expensive after import fees. Not really happy with Samsung here. It would be excusable if cheaper and / or they offered an ENGLISH *OR* FRENCH keyboard, but this hybrid sucks.
The fact that this thing is so expensive, they shoulda gave the option for either.

I got the s7+ bundle from Costco last week that included the keyboard for $1000 but there was a $200
Costco credit for purchases above $1000, so affextively $800 for the s7+ bundle.

I didn't even think about the possibility of getting the French bilingual keyboard since I live in Ontario but that's what I got. It's pretty bad.

From a productivity perspective what are you guys doing with your S7/S7+?

I picked up the s7+ on the Costco deal but I'm finding myself struggling to find the best use case to keep it when I have an S21ultra and a PC.

So in other words, can someone help justify why I should keep an item I bought on RFD because it was a deal lol

I agree the bilingual keyboard is bad. That's what's I got from the Costco bundle

Is there a place on how to learn how to use a bilingual keyboard? I can't really find anything on Google or YouTube. Can't seem to find backslash and question mark. Any help would be appreciated

Paired with a keyboard it becomes a laptop replacement.

If you feel you don't need that niche, I would send it back for a refund.

I'm a huge Android phone fan, and I've seen my share of people return their Android tablets either to do without or for an Apple iPad.

A current generation iPad with a little less storage is cheaper than this device.

I don't do Apple anything, but I can understand why people get iPads.

I've always owned Android devices. However, after a revolving door of android tablets, I just got sick and tired of wasting money on them. Got an iPad last year, and never turning back. I still use Android for my phones though, but never going the Android tablet route again.

After having the iPad, It's making me consider switching from Android to iPhone.. I'm very hesitant about it, as I'm so used to the Android ecosystem. It's too bad I can't "test drive" an iPhone for a week. Not going to lie - the main reason why I like the Android is the ease of the "back button" for me. Is there something similar for this in iOS (without jailbreaking)? I don't like how to "go back", the button is all the way in the top left corner. On Android, it's conveniently on the bottom for easy access. I like Android's ability to double-tap the app-switcher that takes me back to the previous app.

For tablets, I have a similar feeling.

I doubt I'll ever switch on the phone. There are too many niche open environment uses I tap into on my Samsung phone. The Apple iPhone is simply too locked down for me.

I felt suffocated testing the corporate iPhone I was given and went back to Samsung Android. It's way too handholding and limiting. On a tablet, that same simplification works to the user's advantage more as tablets are rarely daily drivers for most people.

I have a Samsung phone so it works together with the Samsung tablet compared to an IPad.

For instance, by just having my Samsung account connected to my Samsung tablet, I can receive phone notifications and even take a call straight from my Samsung tablet without ever touching my phone. No way to do that with an IPad and a Samsung phone.

Since both my phone and tablet are running android, I can use the same paid apps I bought and installed on my phone.

Other than that since I only have one laptop at my place so if my girlfriend takes my thinkpad to do her work I am using my tablet in dex mode as a laptop replacement.

Haven't tried it yet but I plan on using my Samsung tablet to use Xbox game pass with a wireless controller with the tablet on a bed mount so that I can literally play Xbox while lying flat in bed (when I don't even want to spend energy supporting my thorax from having to sit and game)

I also prefer Samsung's screen ratio of 16:10 since it is better for videos. Despite what people say about how they productive they are with their tablets, Number one use of tablets is media consumption still. For that Samsung's screen ratio works better.
