Gamestop Birthday Coupon Question

Obviously this is way late but just so if anyone else in the future has this same question - unfortunately none of the coupons they give you ever stack with your EDGE discount.

In some cases it can outright kill the deal unless you're interested in buying Play'd Switch games, since those are never included in promos anymore.

It really depends on the sales rep... One time I used one of those coupons, and it didnt stack... I just used another one yesterday at a different store, and it did stack....

Theoretically it should stack, because the membership says the discount stacks with all edge promos etc. but the coupon itself says "cannot be combined with any other offer".... so i dont know..

It is kind of stupid to give someone a coupon for 40% off on a second item through a program that already gives them 10% off of both items anyways but doesn't stack. Anyway, first time, the guy tried to get it to stack but couldnt.. Yesterday, it just stacked, no mention of it or anything...

EDIT: and i realize this is an old post - but i stumbled across it when looking this info up, so I thought I would share my experience.

It's possible they've changed it. I'll be getting a birthday coupon at the beginning of December so we'll have to see. It's also possible the guy just manually took the extra discount off because he didn't know it wasn't supposed to.
