Controller trade event – Get double trade credit ($30 for controllers)

Just called my local Gamespot, the only thing you can trade for is store credit.

I called my local store today and although they don't have amazon gift cards, they said I could purchase prepaid visa cards.

I personally haven't seen one in Ontario with Amazon giftcards. Are you in GTA or further out?

Last time they didnt even check mine and gave me the full credit for the older controller anyway.

hmm might be worth a try. does the credits every expire? was gonna wait till the xbox series x controller goes on sale if I manage to get the $30 trade in

I’ve done this for two sets of joycons already. FYI they have a repair shop in Toronto now so the turn around is WAY faster than a year ago (they had to be shipped out to west coast). In my case they replaced the shells as well and they came back practically new.

Traded in my old PS4 controller towards a used copy of Hitman 3 for PS5, cost was 20 bucks taxes in.
