Pro tip if your child (or yourself) rubbed off the serial number from the controller they won't take it.

Learned that the hard way :(

How thorough is the testing they do? I suppose every location may be different.

The person who did mine just pushed all the buttons and moved the sticks in to make sure they were fine.

PS4 controllers are getting slighter harder to come by BNIB in-stores. I'm just going to keep the 6 Dual Shock 4 I have for play on PS3/PS4/PC. I kinda regret selling my 5 Dual Shock 3 as they are impossible to find for a reasonable price nowadays.

They pushed the button but I am pretty sure at least 1 of them didn't turn on due to not being used in over a year

didn't pay close attention.

I wouldn't trade in broken controllers though, not worth the hassle of being banned over 30 dollars of credit

I have a $145 Store credit that i'll let go for $120 if anyone wants it. I traded in some stuff and they have have the xbox series S in stock which is what I needed.
