Gaming Desktop around 1500$

Hiya RFD ! I’m looking on a good deal for a gaming pc around or under 1500$.

I know nothing about computers, so please don’t ask me anything specific about what I want/need lol.

Just want a good plug and play pc!

You need to be able to answer some stuff even if you don't know much.

Are you looking for a whole system (monitor/keyboard/mouse) or just the computer? Is the budget before or after tax? What games do you want to play? Do you want the best for your budget or if there is a better deal that serves your needs would you prefer that?

If you can't answer questions like that, buy a console.

I just need the tower, have a 34 inch monitor and everything else.

Max budget is around 1500$ but I wouldn’t mind paying less!

At that price I can get something that run recent games relatively smoothly on medium-high graphic settings no ?

w/ coupon "extrafive" you get it for $1,244.50 + tax , and another 10% cashback is available using leading cashback site.

So after cashback equivalent to buying it for $1134+tax in ON.

If only lenovo would let you upgrade from standard builds

What would be ideal for OP would be a system like this but with a 4070. Don't get me wrong, 4060 will get the job done, but as OP wants to play more recent games, I would want a GPU with more than 8GB of VRAM. If there isn't a deal with a 4070 to be found, this is a quite reasonable system, but at the moment there is an annoying gap here where the 4060 fits into the budget with room to spare, but 4070 systems want to also have higher CPUs and blow the budget.

Did a quick look and didn't see anything better at the "must be under 1500" price point.

These 2 x MSI desktops should be pretty good at running games. They both look pretty comparable to me. I'm leaning towards the $1500 desktop if you have the money and want the extra RAM.
