How relevant! I was looking for something to replace my Hägar the Horrible Eats App.

It surprises me that a place like Chuck E. Cheese doesn't already have a similar idea...pizza in the shape of Chuck's head. lol
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

'Mr. Davis, who first heard about Mr. Mazri’s idea through a licensing agent in 2016, called GarfieldEATS "the most inventive and well-rounded concept we have ever received from the restaurant industry sector,”'

Was it the only Garfield restaurant concept that they received?

Why say that? Garfield is still alive and well today.

It's over for him. His spark for life died way back. Nothing cheers him up these days :D

The humour is still incredibly good in 2019!
I love the Garfield website humour: "Before you can enter we have to make sure you are not a dog" Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes Smiling Face With Sunglasseshttps://garfield.com/

Also, the food looks terrible.

There is a demand for some new idea to surface. Garfield pizza is the short run answer.
How long this fad lasts is unknown, but it's here for now.
(it may or may not be a fad...)

I have young cousins that still read today's Garfield comic books. Garfield is not dead.
I hope Bill Murray will continue to voice Garfield in some new Garfield movies.
I have not yet tried the food, so I have no comment there yet.

This is almost as out of touch as Canada's Wonderland (meaning Cedar Fair) still using Peanuts characters in their kids areas. What kid today knows Snoopy and the gang? Same goes for Garfield.

Better luck with Snoopy than with Garfield...maybe someone should shut Garfield pizza down and remodel it into a Charlie brown food place of some sort... https://techcrunch.com/2018/12/14/apple-peanuts/

(unless this restaurant is just early "pop up" Hype for next year's movie? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5779228/ Black Question Mark Ornament)

Lasagna is something thats not done too often i notice.
At least no so prominently now that theres so much variety and competition.
It would be cool if someone brought back lasagna. But make it very well and specialize in it!
It would be great for lunches, diners, families. It would make a killing!

There can even be hip ones like vegan avocado lasagna. Possiblt gluten free? Beyond meat!!
