I wish it had 2GB of ram but this price I am willing to compromise. Specs look very good overall for this price range. Android 6.0 marshmallow with 4k resolution support.

Wouldn't this choke on 4K content with that amount of RAM, something to consider, other than that looks decent.

I dont have a 4k tv so that isnt really important to me. But, there is a 2GB ram version as well. But its not as affordable. $35.99 US http://www.********.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_415609.html

RFD affiliate links totally ruined this URL, and is there any way to disable this on the current forums?
Official Response from Dollarama Management:

Dollarama has a no exchange/no refund policy, and as a result, all sales are final. This information can be found on the screen of each check-out/point-of-sale in our stores as well as on each receipt.

Man those links arent working. I had to copy and paste the link manually.

there does not seem to be any way to disable RFD affiliate links on the new forums, and the end result is going to be a LOT of unusable URLs.

as a side note, i don't like the new forum layout myself. this seems like a decent deal, thanks OP.

As for the box, you don't really need to give any specs beyond the fact that it uses the Amlogic S905X chip with 1 Gbyte RAM. There are too many such boxes to count, all with identical performance (S905X has the same performance as S905 too). Look up any S905/S905X performance review if you have concerns about the 4K performance.

Well the original links are broken and we can't use shortening urls. What am I to do here? :(

i hope you didn't pay over a $50 for that, this box will be much better but i'd spend the extra for a 2GB box which can be had for under $50
