Looks like a majority of Xiaomi's current line up is on sale right now. I suggest going for the international versions as they offer better compatibility. All priced in USD

The Note 3 versions of these can be flashed to CM13 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-n ... st68023154

International versions:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro 5.5 inch Snapdragon 650 32gb ROM 3gb RAM : $175.99

The 3/32 one is $166, which was the same price last week. Doesn't matter if it is international or not as it will come with outlet adapter for Canada and settings can be set to English.

If you are looking to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 5.5 Inch Snapdragon 650 Hexa Core 16gb ROM 2gb Ram then check out aliexpress. I paid 180 cnd earlier this week and it was shipped with 48 hours. Geek buying was coming out to be over 200 cnd. Just make sure to go with a seller with a really good feedback rating.

This is annoying the main reason why i never bought the redmi note 3 is that i there was no SD card expansion, now its showing 5" pro there is .. I guess its because they had made so many variants of the same phone model? i really wanted the fingerprint scanner but the SD was the tipping point.

The Mediatek version didn't have a micro SD slot while this Snapdragon one does.

I think he means that the international version will have the proper North American bands whereas the China version will not.

This is very tempting, though I think I wouldn't notice a huge difference coming from a Samsung note 4.

Interested in the Redmi 3 Pro since it is 5inch...about the max my thumb can reach with one hand. Kinda on the fence.
Was actually looking at the Mi4C for the longest time..

Do you know if the above phones work with cm 12/13 and have fingerprint scanner?

Snapdragon 650 version that does not support band 20 has cm13 support and all versions have fingerprint scanner on the back under the camera.
