Thank you!

Only for new member or those with expired paid membership it seems. I don't see the offers as I try to extend my plan (ending Dec).

For anything not latency sensitive, it's brilliant.

4080 / 4090 performance on a subscription without the massive one-time outlay. Cancel when you're bored, your subscription doesn't go obsolete like hardware.

Twitch muscle shooter folks already know to avoid this.

100%. Netflix created TV streaming, and then took over the Movie/TV show industry, leave it to Nvidia to create and take over the gaming streaming industry. Having become the world's largest company by market cap ($3.5 trillion dollars!), they certainly have the resources to do this.

W/ my 3.0Gbps Fibre connection, I don't think I'm gonna buy a new graphics card.

If you are a paying subscriber before the end of 2024, you will still get unlimited playtime for the duration of 2025 at least.

Huge fan as a casual gamer. I avg 15 hours a month on the service so the future 100 hour limit has no impact to me. I don't need to go out and buy a gaming laptop. And ultimate tier will likely get upgraded to the RTX 5080 in the spring if the RTX 4080 launch was anything to go by.

Overall speed doesn’t matter that much, it’s all about the latency. Or the time it take to get that first bit of data.

Source?

I wouldn't be surprised.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce-no ... time-limit

FAQ says if you begin your subscription in 2024, and maintain it, the 100-hour limit will not apply until 2026.

Also, up to 15 unused hours can be rolled over to the next month. And additional 15-hour time blocks are $3 USD at 1440p, or $6 at 4K.

Is ultimate plan worth it if I only have a 60 fps 1440p monitor? I have 3 monitors -- would it allow me to set resolution to 7680x1440?

Sorry, newbie question as I've never tried GFN.

So once you've activated a GFN account, you can play any of your Steam and Epic library games that support GFN correct? Any other launchers supported?
