I was kind of interested in this but the price and range are a bit of a turn off. What do you think?

I love how they bury the range in a submenu to hide it because it's so poor.

I didn't even find it on the there. I just went off a conversion from the 236mi listed on the US site Face With Tears Of Joy

Range is 383km according to the Genesis site.

This is another E-GMP platform vehicle, same as the Genesis GV60, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6, and the Kia EV6. Same 77.4kWh battery, but range is a bit lower than the AWD versions of the EV6 and Ioniq 5, it looks a bit bigger than those and probably less aerodynamic, so that makes sense.

Same 320hp as the AWD Ioniq 5 and EV6. Surprised they didn't give it the 576hp motors from the EV6 GT, but maybe they'll have that as an option later.

Way overpriced for what it is. I'm really liking the Genesis designs though. But really dislike their price point LOL

Love the looks but you would really have your $ to buy this over other SUV EV's in the marketplace.

No it's not. Hyoondai owners say their cars are the same as an Audi now. As the Koreans have hired all the German engineers LOL

Yikes at that range. Sub 400km for that price is just abysmal. Not sure why Audi (Q4), Volvo (C40) and now Genesis are putting out such low range vehicles.

My bad, read the spec wrong.

So it's more powerful than the base GV60 "Advanced AWD" which has 234kW, but is has the same 320kW as the GV60 "Performance AWD" trim.

The EV6/Ioniq 5 AWD are less powerful at 238kW, but the EV6 GT has much more power at 576kW. I'm assuming the "N" line version of the Ioniq 5 will probably get the same 576kW motors as the EV6 GT.

Either way, this is a "Luxury SUV", 320kW/429hp is plenty for dropping the kids off at soccer practice.

Similarly priced to the BMW iX, I'd would definitely rather get this than that ugly abomination

How large is this vehicle? honest question, I never looked at it closely.

Overall Length = 184.4 in

What about a RAV4? Overall length = 180.9 inches (a bit smaller)

What about a Highlander? Overall length = 194.9 inches (longer)

Cheap solution: buy a gasoline RAV4 XLE AWD for $42,000 (that's half the price than the Electrified GV70)... use the other $42,000 to buy gas (that's a lot of gas....)

Why buy a Mercedes when you can buy a Civic? Ad infinitum.
