Im thinking of the signing with freedom $50 plan plus $40 tab or would waiting till october/november bring better deals?

This time of the year is usually the worst time to buy a current generation iPhone. With the iPhone 12 being announced less than a month away, it usually means the iPhone 11 Pro will get discontinued, or will be discounted as an one-generation behind model. All the carriers will be clearing out their iPhone 11 stock, which means bigger incentives/discounts coming from carriers. If you are not in a hurry to buy, I would recommend you wait a month at least.

The right answer is to wait. Everyone will tell you this and you probably know that you should. The real question is can you wait til Nov for your new phone? Recent leaks suggest that the pro models of the 12 wont come out til then.

best to wait, iPhone 12 is pretty much here. Slightly delayed due to covid but mid October is the slated announcement.

If you have a phone to tide you over until then, I wouldn't rush it.

Wait.

I don't know about you, but I hate it when I pay full price for something and within a few days (or weeks in this case), something better comes along for more or less the same price.

Wait. I'm due for an upgrade as well. I might for 12 pro which would be same price or 11 pro at a discounted price. We'll see

Due for an upgrade? I assume you don't have a consumer account as consumer account "upgrades" are thing of the past.

I was looking at a iphone, mainly because I want the apple watch. The Virgin store manager was willing to knock $100 off iphone pro max.

Wait. Better features for same price. Or buy old model for cheaper price.
