[Giant Tiger] Energizer Max Alkaline Batteries: AAA 4-pk $1.99 - also PM Opportunities

I needed some AAA batteries and found this deal of 4-packs Energizer Max at Giant Tiger for $1.99.

Bought six 4-packs there and then managed to PM (meet & beat) another seven 4-packs at HD for $1.79.

Time to re-load all the bbq lights, bicycle lights and countless remote controls....

Thanks. I had a HD store credit that I wanted to get rid of. Also, in case PMs were not possible, I grabbed the first six at Giant Tiger to not miss out. Also picked up a hard-copy sales flyer for PM attempts.

BTW, expiry date on all 13 packages was the same; 12 - 2027.

Confirmed. $9.99 vs. $1.99 is an eight dollar difference, additional 10% of this difference is eighty cents,.....so $9.99 less $8.80 is $1.19. Grabbed four more 4-packs at BB @ this awesome $1.19. All packs again expire 12 - 2027.

Then went to Reno Depot to kill off a small gift card, they only PM - no additional beats - so another four 4-packs at $1.99. This time the expiry dates were not as good; one pack 12 - 2025 and three packs 12 - 2024.

if you don't want to price match or don't have this store nearby, shoppers has 16 pack on for 9.99 and last week I got a 24 pack for 12.99 at shoppers. plus point offers.

An awesome deal on genuine Energizer batteries these average out to be about half the price of buying them in a store and they came well packed and no problems with them whatsoever.

Reno Depot is the worst store for PM'ing, just as bad as Canadian Tire (employees don't understand this concept).

Will any stores match the price for 9v batteries ? The ad only shows aa/aaa batteries and the ad only says 9v available, not sure if this is on sale or not?

BB matches the price and takes off a further ten percent of the difference.

HD takes ten percent off of the competitor's price.
