Gulp, no wonder why it's called the "fine print" - couldn't even read it from the ad. Providing that there aren't any additional fees, if someone purchased the $100 MC one, they could still be up $4 on a gift card.

Not bad for a frozen pizza night when they're at ~$2.99-3.99

Does anyone know how Giant Tiger codes on the TD Visa cards? Trying to figure out if this can be combined with the 6% bonus on grocery on the Cashback infinite.
eBay Feedback: 118 and counting.

If you are talking about the 10% on the first $2000 spending, then it doesn't matter what the regular cash back rate is, the total is still 10%. So if the regular rate is 4% for gas & grocery, then you get an extra 6% to get 10%. If the regular rate is 1%, then you will get extra 9% to get 10%.

I'm currently on the 6% for gas and groceries. Trying to figure out if this qualifies as groceries (probably not, but you never know). The Giant Tiger is sort of out of the way for me, so though I would ask rather than just give it a test.

...Or a monthly fee for being active. I know there were a few that charged something like $3.95 per month. Quite the surprise when i went to buy a $60 thing to find out my $80 card could cover the base cost and taxes cause it had been activated 3 months ago and already burned through $12 of its balance.

It was one of the promo offers on the TD CBI.

For the first few months it doubles the base earn rate of 3%
