Giving Tuesday Donation Deals

Time to give a little back and get more bang for your buck.

Muscular Dystrophy Canada has someone matching all donations up to $25000. These guys have helped me out a lot over the years. Donate at www.muscle.ca

Canada Helps - Donate $25 or more through CanadaHelps.org and they'll add an extra $5 to your donation. www.canadahelps.org

PayPal - "Support the causes you love at PayPal.ca/GiveBack, and we'll add 10% up to a total of $75,000 starting at 6 AM AST on 12/3." Over 80000 charities to choose from.

BCSPCA - someone is matching donations up to $50000. www.spca.bc.ca

Am I reading the PayPal statement correctly? They'll match $75k *total*, across all donors, and all charities? That seems like a really tiny amount for them. :(

"Donations up to $1,000.00 CAD per donor and $20,000.00 CAD per charity over the course of the entire Offer Period are eligible to be matched."

Good thread OP. I do try to make my donations during these matching programmes. BCSPCA has one a month ago.

Kiva provides micro loans to small business owners in developing countries. They need donations to operate (field workers, head office staff, online presence. Loans are edited by volunteers though. I volunteer for them)
