Glasses prescription help

I’m wanting to order a new pair off Clearly.ca, however I’m having difficulty understanding the last set of numbers on my prescription. My eye doctor is closed and not reopened until Aug due to Covid.

Is it 175 on OD or 17?

Looks like 175 to me. Do you have an older prescription to compare it to?

Looks like you have astigmatism. That would be 175 which is the axis.

Astigmatism prescription:

OD -4.75 -1.00 x 175
OS -5.25 -0.75 x 005

PROTIP: When getting a prescription like this, always wait for the optometrist to leave the reception area, and then ask the front desk reception for the prescription. They tend to have much better handwriting.

I go to the doctor at my local Costco now and it's always a computer printout. Very legible. Face With Tears Of Joy
