Glue for installing drip edge along roof edge?

Need to install some drip edge, 4-5 foot length. I don't think I can lift up the shingles high enough to nail it down. Roof is slanted and shingles might break off? What to use to glue it underneath the shingles?

No glue or adhesive will last long term on something like that

Lay a bead of Pl-Premium on the roof ply itself, under the shingle, and carefully push the drip edge over and up into it. Done right, your repair should last a decade or two, as the glue should in theory be completely protected from the elements.
