Is anyone enforcing the mandatory mask rule? I take the public transit almost daily and there's usually one or two selfish individuals who are defiant but no one to enforce it.

no transit systems that I know of in GTA are enforcing mask usage. Their argument is that riders may have medical reasons for not wearing a mask. SMH...
I can see their point with regards to operator safety. A driver in France was killed when he asked riders to wear masks.

Probably going on the same schedule as Windsor Caesars... opening mid-late Oct. As a frequent casino goer... I don't think I'll be back until there is a vaccine... casino's are already pretty filthy as is (besides Wynne/Aria/Belagio)

My friend takes GO Train every morning/afternoon to and from Port Credit for her 9-5 job. M-F she says she gets 3 empty seats around her pretty well every day so far. Also fare inspectors about 1/week now according to her.Internetsurfer wrote: ↑ Anyone have pictures of what train looks like nowadays? Are they still crazy packed as prior to covid 19?
However I'm not sure about the Niagara weekend train specifically nowadays. Last time I took it (pre covid), we had lots of space to spread out.

I am sure Canada people won't go physical. People here are strong in the mouth, but when it comes to actual fighting others, we don't do it becasue we are scared.sprung wrote: ↑ no transit systems that I know of in GTA are enforcing mask usage. No enforcement is probably becasue of liability. Ttc are scared for similar reason other Canadians scares to fight.
Do less, make less mistake.
If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

This is great OP.
Might make for fun stay cation
Are there any other options other than Niagara Falls? Where else does Go train go that would be fun outing with kids?
previous thread
Remember also that it's always free for kids age 12 and under so perfect for family trips (Niagara Falls, etc)
more info here
It is a fair distance walk from train station to the falls.
If you want to take WEGO bus from train station in Niagara Falls instead of walking, they only sell ride all day passes good for 24 hrs minimum

48-Hour Pass $14.00 $10.00

as for suggested activities, I finally did the rope course with my kids this week. We did the kid's course and still had a blast! Great workout, some scary bits if you're afraid of heights. Highly recommended. WEGO bus stops right at the course
http://niagarafalls.wildplay.com/whirlp ... re-course/
for fun, free activity consider hiking the Niagara Glen. Beautiful trail right down in Niagara River gorge

Was on a Kitchener GO train line from Union to Mount Pleasant GO station on Friday at 5:04pm.
Train was pretty empty considering the time. I was in the quiet section and there might have been 3 of us total in that specific train car.
They did have the plexi-glass seat dividers but didn't have signs on the seats so technically if it was full, you could sit across from someone.
Took the GO bus back to Toronto later in the evening, max 4 passengers were on the bus. No physically distancing signs on the bus seats, no dividers between seats.
