Quite possibly one of the best games ever. Highly recommend, especially at this price!

Played it on PS4 and loved it. For me, the combat was great. Yes headphones are highly recommended. Combat was a bit challenging at first but once you learned key moves and got in a groove, very rewarding as a player.
c'mon get happy!

most boring game I ever played. People overhype anything these days...

Short game but worth it all at $10. Headphones are a must for a full experience.

Playing at 2am in the morning is not recommended...

I finished it a long time ago, it's more of a walking simulator than anything... there isn't much "game" to it.

I can second that. I mean it was a beautiful game at the time, but I'd never replay it... To be honest, wouldn't even pay $10.00 for it.

If you have a nice headset, the audio is terrifying, pretty trippy!

It's on Gamepass if you want to play it plus a shit load of other stuff for a $1. Also, not the most replayable game so take that into consideration as you'll probably beat it in 6-10 hours.

About replay value well if one did want to replay it at least they know with a GOG version they will be able to forever as they own the game. Just had to say that when I saw your comment.

I heard the theme and story are good but the combat becomes very repetitive.

i beat it on switch (full $40 unfortunately) and definitely one of the most memorable games of 2019 along with the Witcher 3 (which I also beat on switch). I can agree and see how there are divided opinions about the game and they are all true. it does a lot of walking (definitely not uncharted or tomb raider or dark souls, sekiro if that's what you're looking for) with similar battle patterns for every combat, but in a fun way at least for me. story and music are something I really enjoyed/resonated with and still listen to occasionally. $10 for one time experience is certainly worth it, but again, probably not for you if you prefer more shooting with explosions, etc than psychological stuff with dialogues.

Game is currently on Xbox Game Pass and was bundled in Humble Monthly in July 2019 and June 2020. Just in case if you are using any of these subscriptions.
