Good deals on merino wool

In advance of a lengthy trip, I recently stocked up on merino wool shirts. I thought I would share some good deals currently on the market.

From MEC:
MEC MERINO T1 SHORT SLEEVE CREW - $31

MEC MERINO T1 LONG SLEEVE CREW - $34
https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5045-079/ ... leeve-Crew

From Sportcheck:
Icebreaker Cool-Lite Short Sleeve Crewe - $45 (after using Sportcheck 10% promo)
https://www.sportchek.ca/categories/men ... olor%5D=41

From Costco
Cloudveil 100% Merino Wool long-sleeve - $25

I have quite a few merino wool sweaters. Most of my t-shirts are 100% cotton. What are the advantages of having a merino wool t-shirt? Is this supposed to be athletic wear?

Wool helps wick away sweat whereas cotton holds onto moisture. Smelly people find wool doesn't have bad sweat-related issues compared to polyester fabrics. Wool shirts r delicate and often get holes in them, which sucks.

That Costco item is so low-priced. I wish I could check it out and compare it to those more expensive brands to see if there is a difference.

They're great for travel: they pack down well so don't take up a lot of space, they wick sweat and don't retain smell easily, they dry quickly. The main downside is their cost.

I also have a lot of cotton clothes. But I want to change the style.
I'm having doubts about that dehydrated water I bought for my plastic plants.
