Is this a good gaming laptop deal? ROG Strix SCAR II

I’m looking for a gaming laptop under $2000 and found below:

ROG Strix SCARII 15” -original price listed at $2599 now 1699

Is this a good deal or should I looking for something else?

Thanks!

I think this is really nice deal. Especially with RTX 2070 Non Max-Q.
The only drawbacks I found are the older processor (not much difference), OK cooling and no Secure Key compared to the newer model.
Also, this model comes with a single channel 16GB RAM. So to take full advantage I would suggest installing another 16GB RAM stick. You will see noticeable difference in gaming with dual channel RAM compared to single channel. And install 2.5" SSD for storage expansion.

I decided to pull the trigger. Here check out some discussion and reviews about it.
