I know this is a little out of your requested area, but if you wish to drive a few go to Port Colborne. Pretty well only fish from the G.L.:

If you drive to Hamilton, you can go to Nations Fresh Foods

I visited Farm Boy in Burlington and they have a nice sea-food counter. They were training staff for a new location in St. Catherines. Check that out when it opens.

Costco has limited selection, but very good quality. Fresh salmon, both wild and farmed, mussels, haddock, cod, halibut and oysters in season. Tuna sometimes. They also do "road shows" where they have crab legs and lobster tails but these are usually "previously frozen". They also have good frozen selections - we used to like their Norway cod. We get a lot of raw shrimp there as well.

Minor's in Port Colborne is good for Perch and Pickerel only.

For squid look for Portuguese stores for fresh, or use flash-frozen product.
