Good Offer? 2021 RAV4 XLE Hybrid AWD

I am in GTA and shopping for a RAV4 XLE Hybrid AWD. I got the below offer as the best out of the few dealerships I contacted. Is it a good deal?

MSRP: 35950
Mandatory Fees (Freight, etc.): 1990
Discount: -1700

Sub total: $36,240
HST: 4711.20

Total: $40,951.20 + license fees (which I am not sure how much)

Downpayment will be 20,000 and the rest is financed over 48 months at the rate of 3.69%

Trying to understand whether this is a good deal or I need to negotiate more.

TIA.

this was a 3k discount after $800 of avoidable fees, so net was around $2.2k discount which was still really good on the gas model.

If you're getting 1700 off and not paying any admin fee, wheel lock fee, etching fee, etc., you have a good deal on the hybrid. Rav4 hybrids are still selling really well and supply is still trying to keep up with demand.

Lol. That would be a bad deal for sure! Thanks for pointing it out though, corrected it :)

True, within that 700-800 admin fees, there is usually a tyre/wheel warranty, key replacement warranty etc for a good $500. We can definitely say no to that.
I believe you are correct about Hybrids, dealers are not willing to negotiate much.

op I would counter each dealer with a 2k discount, the first one who accepts gets your business.
