Good pair of hair shears for beginner?

My GF is trusting me to cut her hair thanks to the covid lockdown. I'm a total beginner to using shears though. She has long hair and is just looking to trim off a few cm. Can anyone recommend a good sharp set on Amazon? Is the Equinox one ($29.99, https://www.amazon.ca/Equinox-Professio ... B00KVYBY8M) worth the price tag? It seems to have the best reviews of all shears on Amazon but is also almost double the price of other generic brands. There's also the shears + thinning shears set for another $10 ($39.99, https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00W2ZWPMW), are thinning shears required for ladies to trim off a few cm?

I have been looking at those.. supposedly you have to have really small hands to use them.
To be honest, as a male, I was just using my regular office Fiskars scissors to cut my own hair due to covid.
What if there were no hypothetical questions?
