Good price for micro SD?

Hey guys,

I've been looking around for a 128gb micro SD for a bit and came upon the [removed] Patriot LX Series 128GB Micro SDXC[/url] on Amazon. It's on sale right now for $44.37 and based on camel it looks like it's the lowest price it has been for a while. How reliable is Patriot? I'm aiming for the best budget micro sd (but don't want it dying on me 1 month in) and plan to use it for gaming (on the PS Vita), would Samsung be better for 15 bucks more? Any advice would be appreciated :)

(first time posting so I hope I did it right!)

They all offer a limited life time warranty. Patriot is not a tier 1 vendor, but they have been around for a long time

Costco has the SanDisk 64GB for $25 and 128GB for $45...everyday regular price.

Can't confirm that, as I don't have a Nintendo Switch.
But, I can confirm it works well in dashcams and cellphones.

Yup Costco is hard to beat at $45. They had a sub-$40 sale price back in January. A couple of times a year Sandisk or Lexar will have amazing prices too via Amazon. You can have a local Best Buy, Visions or Staples price match if they carry the same card.

But for the moment, Costco seems to have the best price. You'd probably be alright with a Patriot but try to get a Tier 1 brand like Sandisk, Lexar, Kingston, etc. Be very, very careful if buying sd cards on Ebay or from random vendors on Amazon, most.. yes, most of the cards from small vendors on Amazon, Ebay or various Chinese mail order places are relabeled fakes.

For what its worth, my Patriot 32gb micro sd card has been going on without problems for about 3 years now. Some of the adata ones I bought before this crapped out in about a year.
