Costco carries a 100' commercial hose in-warehouse for ~$30-40. They typically drop to $20 at the end of the season

Natural rubber is what you want. This is a good thing to check online classifieds for used hoses, that's where I got mine. 50' for $15, including a hose reel cart.

The advantage to the Costco hoses is that they are ready for the trash in three years instead of two. I'd stay away from them ...

Return it to costco in that case. Pretty sure the hose has a 10 year warranty or something

This. Get a rubber hose. They are a little heavier than regular hoses and are definitely more pricier but mine has been going for about 8+ years now. I believe I got mine from Rona.
