I was in the market for some true wireless IEMs and noticed the Pixel Buds 2 on sale. Looks like its $70 off at various retailers. If you're in the market seems like a decent time to buy.

Both of those stomp on the Pixel Buds, even at the same price. There's not much of a comparison to be made.

Read some reviews and they complained about connection issues. Maybe this is a case for wait for the next gen.

I got a pair for Christmas but had to return them because one side would not connect to my Pixel phone.
Went through troubleshooting with Google Help and a few tutorials online but nothing worked.

I still want a pair but don't know if I should risk it again; returning them as a pain in the ass because they were opened.

It says open box but techincally you can't return open box earbuds.
One lad ordered, said the box was opened but buds were sealed and didnt have any signs of wear.

Bought these for my wife a couple years back. She really wanted to like these but had to return them due to connection issues like other reported.

My thing is. I got some KZ ZS10 Pro's from (got them from ali express) total cost $37 shipped, the best 500mah bluetooth adapter for them is $62 it has a 40 hour battery life and the latest qualcomm chipset, take a look, for $90 these will whip these headphones. With this setup you have wired, or wireless and amazing sound -- 40 hour battery life -- at half the cost.

I also have KZs from Ali. Where did you get BT adapter from?

I went through the same issues as you. I couldn't get the left ear bud to connect with my pixel, spoke to support, they got me to do a few things with no luck and offered a full refund.

It's a shame because in my opinion they're the better looking airbuds on the market but I couldn't trust them to work if at all. Patiently waiting on the new Sony wireless airbuds to come out.
