Bought it.

I found that Nova gives me a cleaner and simpler interface plus with very low load on the CPU.
When looking at all of the apps, I just want to be able to list everything alphabetically.

I would pay $20, $30 for this launcher.

IMO it's what MAKES android. OnePlus' Oxygen comes close.

In fact I would just buy OnePlus if Nova didn't exist.

It's mainly just adjustments to the home screen layout (attached).
Getting rid of labels cleans things up.
I use an icon pack spheroid (it's free often).
My business calendar is the calendar widget.

It's the front end interface for your phone. It would take months/years to go through all the options. Anyone on Android should be using this imo.

For about a year I'm using AndroidOne and could not stand the default launcher. I didn't like the permanent search bar and lack of customization. Nova was the savior, I can set my phone exactly the way I want it, there are still lots of tweaks possible. I used the Nova beta (too cheap to spend $5.99 even though fully wort it), now at $0.99 I can finally have the full version.

+1 more for Nova. Have been using it for years thanks to a thread like this one on RFD. I was determined to give the S10's OneUI a fair chance before loading Nova. I think I managed 45 minutes before the great sigh of relief starting up Nova.

Been using the pirated version for like 10 years, guess I should pay my dues.

edit: Ugh, i regret it. Some of the updates made it uglier. That's what I get for doing the right thing :D

I've used launchers like these a long time ago but have been rocking the original phone launchers for a while.
Gestures like swiping on icons to open different apps, gestures on home screen. Never liked the visual style of folders so their app drawer grouping was good enough for me, having the ability to hide uninstallable apps is also nice.

I am using the standard Samsung launcher on my s10e. Not really missing much. What's the difference/advantage?

It's personal taste. I've been using nova almost since it launched due to the flexibility it gives me. You can customize it really to whatever your liking. If you're a person that just wants to use whatever is out of the box, or just have icons on home screen I don't think it'll make much of a difference. One UI has far less options for customization but I actually didn't mind it as much
