Thanks for the post, but Google has got to do better than this to move these units at this stage of the game.

Pixel 3a has the mid-market for the price conscious, and the 4 is coming out in a few months. Yes, there's always something new around the corner but the 4 should bring some serious upgrades to the Pixel lineup that hasn't seen major changes since the first one.

Oh, and the 3 has no headphone jack. Sigh

Bell renewed both of our contracts ($100 tax in for 2 lines) with 0 down for Pixel 3. This include unlimited calls and sms plus 6GB shared. The same was $42 for BYOD. So the device cost me ~$120...

Carriers have good promo right now for the Pixel 3.

Both Apple and Google are just playing safe and trying to milk it as much as possible. I'd not pay such astronomical prices for something that they are going to sabotage in 24 months and force us to spend another $1000. One of the reasons im never buying a flagship anymore. I dont game on my cell phone so don't really need a powerful phone. I find it odd that its the companies from the far east that are spending most on innovation and trying something new while the companies south of the border with billions in the bank are playing safe and concentrating more on service.

You'll need to wait for the mi 9t pro to be announced/come out

The k20 pro doesn't have proper lte support in Canada

I'm waiting for the pixel 4a to replace my pixel 1. I agree there is no point to drop $1000 when an equally good phone for non-gamers is only $500.

I had the original Pixel XL until it broke. Waiting for the 3a XL to go on sale. I agree that it's probably the best camera phone, plus unlimited* storage.
