For those who can shop in the US: Black Friday Google Deals: early sales on Pixel 4 and Pixel 3A - The Verge
You’ll be able to find decent discounts on unlocked Google Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, and the midrange Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL soon at a variety of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo, and more...

Starting on Sunday, November 24th, it will be $200 off, priced at $599 for the 64GB version and $699 for the 128GB version. Applying this discount to the Pixel 4 XL makes it $699 for the base 64GB version and $799 for the model with 128GB of storage. This deal concludes at the end of Cyber Monday, which takes place on December 2nd...

This sale brings the starting price of the Pixel 3A down to $299.99, which is a great deal for a phone with the latest Android 10 software, an excellent camera, and interoperability with all major US carriers. For the Pixel 3A XL, with its bigger screen and battery, you’re looking at a starting price of $379.
B&H ships to Canada with taxes prepaid so it may be an option compared to the Canadian version of this deal ([Google.com] Save $150 on Pixel 3a/3a XL (Nov 28 - Dec 2).) Sometimes they even throw in accessories to make their deals stand out from the competition.

And if you use Google Fi or are interested in getting it for international travel, Google often has discounted phones for those folks that are better than what they offer to the masses.

Stay tuned...

With the 4xl just remember max 128gb storage and only free high quality photo storage with Google, no longer original quality storage without a paid storage plan. Also the jerryrigseverything video shows the XL antenna placement is poor if not terrible. Don't sit on it.

I have the Pixel 2. I see the finger print sensor was removed and an audio jack added.
They should have kept the finger print sensor I find it very useful.
Audio through the USB-C only = very dumb idea.

Actually with the popularity of BT devices increasing as well as the prices decreasing, a headphone jack these days is a moot point, especially in the high end phone market. There are even BT DACs for those audiophiles out there that want to stick with wired.

On the Pixel 4, there's no headphone jack or fingerprint sensor. The 3a has both though.

Google's Pixel, every single released, is so poorly executed that the price would have to drop $500 CAN for me ro entertain it.

When that happens, be sure to post it and I'll give you the up vote. Otherwise thanks for a useless opinion.

Thanks OP. May be worth looking at for the 3aXL.

I dont want the 3a since there is only 2.5 years left of security updates. Hopefully the 4a has a finger print sensor.

Just to confirm, the 3a doesn't have an IP rating, correct?

They are not poor, but they do want you to pay $$$$ for a vision of their software rather than hardware, that being said after 2 years your Pixel will not get their latest software features regardless

It's 3 years of software updates if you purchase the phone on release date

That's pretty damn impressive considering that most other manufacturers stop after like 3 months....
Obviously a bit of an exaggeration but it's still not 3 years.
