ok, I'm not even a Samsung fanboy, but don't go there.

This 'Total Media Player Pro' app was last updated on November 2, 2016. So if something is going to break, I'll put my money on the 2 1/2 year old app with old APIs and bugs.

That entirely depends on the features you need/use.. Look if any of the options this player has [some are listed in the OP] works for you and if KMPlayer lacks it..
[like subs search, playing cloud media, taking snapshot of streaming videos, Chromcasting...]

Don't ever blindly trust anyone.

That said, this app is around for at least 3-4 years, so it should be known if something is wrong already...
