Got a tablet for my daughter, how can I save videos for offline viewing?

So I got a free samsung android tablet in a Fido deal and want to save some youtube videos for offline viewing but I came to find out that they dont allow you to download any kids videos.

Is there a way I can do this with a third party app or are there any other good offline learning or video apps that you would suggest?

What browser are you using?
You may be able to find a YouTube downloader extension for the browser.

Have you tried youtube premium? There should be a 1month trial.

Thanks, but there is some sort of restriction on downloading kids videos because of children privacy laws in Canada. I have youtube premium, but it still doesnt work.

I don't know if there's any restriction for downloading kids videos.
Hopefully someone can chime in on that matter.

Use a screen recording app. You might lose audio though.

I use a software program called 4K downloader. It is not free and is not illegal. I have a MS tablet and it works well for that. I'm mindful of what I can use it for and not within the parameters of license restrictions.

I also use, only to capture video from my child's game play, so no idea what it can be used for, a an active HDMI splitter, I use OREI HD-102 1x2 1 Port HDMI Powered Splitter Ver 1.3 Certified for Full HD 1080P & 3D Support, and then feed it into a Elgato Cam Link 4K , into my desktop and capture. I have to convert and load into her ipad so she can be amused st her game play.

That seems work for me.

Again, not free options. The above hardware is a few hundred and software license is also maybe 30.

Good luck. I've got to get an HDMI out to capture some old Wii game play for my child for her to be amused by.
