[Costco] Gourmia 6 Quart GAF698 Digital Air Fryer $64.99/$69.99 (In store/Shipped)

Was at Costco earlier and noticed they have a bunch of the Gourmia GAF698 Digital Air Fryers.
Reviews seem decent on the US site, considering the price.
This is our first air fryer so well see how it goes but we're exited lol.

Many owners say it smell's like plastic burning for the first few times, and I can attest to that lol. I won't let it bother me tho.

Bought one for my sister but tried some fries before I gave it to her.

Makes amazing fries and she seems to really like it. It's also great for reheating food

Plenty of videos out there with owners that seem to be happy with it.
This is 2nd or 3rd revision by the looks of it to.

Saw this at the Markham East Costco and it was a consideration but I'm going to hold it for a sale on the Instant Pot that can air fry and steam as well.

Thanks OP. Who tf downvoted this for "poor merchant reputation"? He or she must really hate Costco.

We had a chance to use it today and we're very, very happy with it.
Made 3 batches of wings we got from Costco in les than 30 minutes. The kids were over and really liked how the food tasted it as well.

Been waiting for 8qt instant pot air fryer lid since we already have the pot but wasn't able to find it. Tho I think this is nicer to work with since we can slide out the pan something you need to do 2-3 times per batch.

If you don't have an air fryer already go get it. If you're not happy (highly doubt it) Costco makes it easy to return.

Happy Easter!

I bought one a few days ago from the NF location and it has been surpringly awesome. We've tried every sort of fried food in it, as well as burgers and with a few minor timing adjustments the food comes out fantastic.

For people asking about inventory, item number is on the receipt. Just call a local Costco and they can tell you if your city has any, along with the price.

Other air fryers can go up to 450 to 500 degrees while this one goes to max of 400, is it hot enough to get food crispy?

Have a gourmia from last year from Costco. Bigger than more expensive brands and cooks just as well. I literally have had perfect wings, chicken breasts, fries, fish etc. Honestly one of the best cooking purchases ever made. Easily buy it if you can. I find the bigger size helped more than my friends almost double cost Ninja version. Food cooks almost identical etc.

From comparison videos on YouTube I've watched they all say air fryers are just the same as cooking in the oven. (Not this particular model, just in general)

My wife wants one but I'm skeptical. You guys prefer this to a deep fryer?

Decided to give it a try, called Costco Thorncliffe and they mentioned having 120 in stock, 30 minutes drive time and I grabbed one of 25 left on the skid. Perhaps the remaining were not on the floor yet, or in the aisle as I grabbed from the end cap location.

I bought a ninja for my daughter and she raves about it, will see if this one will be as good.

Also picked up some Mason Jars on sale $4 for $12.99

I have this Gourmia - no issue thus far aside from some steam coming out from the sides of the container during cooking. From what I've read online, a little bit is normal.

I noticed over the weekend that Calgary Cross Iron had the Chefman 10 litre air fryer for $95. I picked one up as a buy now, Google reviews later. It's a little bigger and has a viewing window at the front of it. Anyone have experience with the Chefman?

I wanted something larger than my daughters 3.8L Ninja, but not too large as when we have big family dinners I prefer to use our convection oven.

So though this 6L unit would hit the right balance.

I already ran it twice for 15 minutes each as the first time usage can give off a burnt plastic smell. Second time almost no smell, washed between uses.

Tonight going to give this a real try, easy to operate with all the presets, has pre-heat which is great before timer starts, and press another button so it will beep to remind you to turn/shake the cooking items. Very bright display, initial thoughts are good build quality and $65 is a steal i look forward to using.

I literally grabbed the same two items as you lol.

I returned my Ninja that I bought for $97 last week, this price is too good and they both heat up to 400F

This one comes with same two inside accessories and is bigger.

Mason jars going to hold our dry snacks, they look great.
