Thanks for bringing this up. I hope the feedback means something and effects meaningful change.

Exactly what information about competition are those survey questions supposed to discover?

That's nothing. In Spain you can get TWO mobile phone lines with unlimited talk/text/10GB data and unlimited 200Mbps home internet for 20 Euros ($30ish) per month with a yearly contract.

Too bad it is available in Spain only. To get this cheap package, you get other stuff that may not be so desirable.

The survey comes at an opportune time for me - I'm just frustrated again with my internet access.

That is true, on average income is significantly lower in Russia than out here.

Nuts, I forgot to mention that we get limited by:
- time (we pay every month, no matter how little we use)
- by data traffic
- by speed

We get triple teamed from behind.

I wish they would just ask the basic questions instead of fishing for indirect data, e.g.:

1. Do you feel that there is adequate competition on internet services in your area? (rate it 1 - 5)

2. If not, what do you think the problems are? (List, check all that apply)

Actually from decades of porn viewing on the internet I can confirm that it is almost impossible to get triple teamed from behind. The logistics of positioning everyone are extremely complex, and while the mythical "DVDA" situation is rumoured to exist, I've certainly never seen it.

Spain has a median income of about $12-14K/year and they still have better internet and mobile phone packages than Russia.
