Just wonder if anyone thinks it's safe to buy GPS map from kijiji...

Depends on the details.
If it's for your phone or a dedicated GPS, take it with you and test it on the spot before you pay. Even if it's for a different part of the world you should be able to open the map and locate addresses there.

Good point! What about spyware? Are the copies legit? Will they get me into trouble?

If it's a GPS map, it's just data. It's possible to buy GPS maps for other countries, but some are free - Nokia Here maps for example. There are also cracked copies of paid GPS maps available online. Unlikely to get you into any trouble though. What device or GPS app is the map for?

For dedicated GPS, Garmin GPS, not GPS for phone.

Free maps would be great, but I don't think I can use it. The OpenMapChest is for bittorrent, not regular d/w.Fraser River Rat wrote: ↑Hi,
