GPU sales?

I have not seen any GPU sales in ages.

The CC 6900 XT phantom stock sale doesn't count.

I need a GPU to replace my failing 1080ti. The only option I see is the 6750 for $500. No real step up from that without a $1000 jump.

LOL good luck. Stock is still slim and stores are still charging exorbitant prices. I've been trying to find a replacement for my ITX 960 for ages.

The joke is with the 6750 at $500, there is no real option between $500 and $1500. There is a thousand dollar gap with no real options.

Yeah. I saw that dual fan asus and would rather pay $100 more for the reference card.

Interesting, considering the they keep saying on the news that 4080s aren't selling at those ridiculous prices.

What's wrong with the Asus? What does the extra $100 get for the reference card? Looking for something for my son - he's asking for the GTX3070, but as far as I can tell, this Asus 6750 should be more powerful and much cheaper?

The dual fan is considered Asus lower tiered model.
Also, AMD warranty is much better than Asus.

I got the Asus Dual 6750 XT from CC last week for $499. It's been pretty solid so far. FSR really makes a difference if your game supports it.

This is coming from a Vega 64 (2018/$600) and before that a Radeon HD 7850 CrossfireX setup (2013/$500). I think $499 is reasonable for what you get. I think it might drop $100 but that would be if CC had only 1 or 2 left in the store.

Also, there will be the new GPUs announced in the new year. They will have higher performance, but also higher price. It's always the question, do you buy now or do you wait?

Do you have any source for the dual fan being worse than the reference? Seems like it performs fine and cools adequately. I'm sure some of the triple 80mm fan cards do better than the dual 95mm fans, but $100 better? I doubt it.

AMD direct is one of the worst RMA processes available, and compared to ASUS, that says alot.

6750 is NOT worth +$600. Even $499 is pushing it.

I had a 6800xt replaced by AMD due to artifacting at max settings and the rma process was painless.
I’m not saying the 6750xt is worth the current msrp, but do know that the dual fan gpus don’t cool as well as triple fans.

So for all the people who don’t think the Asus 6750xt is worth $499, what would you buy right now if you needed something and can’t wait?

the 6750 is only $50-100 from where it should be, so its an OK buy as far as things go.

Agreed. It's one of the only GPUs that's an acceptable buy. I'm gonna pick one up tomorrow to replace a 1080ti.
