Was looking for a footrest, but looks like G&T has it at a very reasonable price. This is for a higher end footrest!

FYI, spoke to the agent and asked why it says "back ordered". She mentioned it's only because Humanscale controls the inventory but we can expect it 10 - 12 business days from ordering.

This is by far the best foot rest I've used. Very solid & smooth & adjustable.
I think I paid about $90 something from Staples.

Thanks OP, bought. I've been thinking about a foot rest to allow my feet to touch the ground flat comfortably with my office chair.

Same here! Ordered. Only thing I didn't get was a confirmation e-mail from Grand and Toy. Couldn't even find one in my account, but my credit card got charged. Did you get one?

If you've ever found sitting at a desk for a long time causes you sore legs a foot rest might help. The front lip of your chair tends to cut into your lower back thigh which reduces circulation in the legs.

Has anyone ordered this specific item and received it? It always seems to be backordered.

I messaged them. They order directly from Humanscale so they put "Back Order" since it's Humanscale who controls inventory. She said 10 - 12 business days shipped from ordering.

Well they're a legitimate company, so it should be fine. They said they will send confirmation upon order processing. So maybe Monday when the office hours are open?

Is nice for 70 bucks. Considering those plastic ones are like 50.

I just use a $20 contoured foam body roller - elevates, gets feet moving, and massages. Better than a wood board.

Shopper+ has affordable footrests.

Bought this one a month or so ago for 25$ on sale (now 30$).

I used an ottoman before which was probably too high and not ergonomic, but if you need a footrest that can be set to a higher height there's this.

Have not tried this one but sort of contemplated it due to it being height adjustable, but also still affordable.

This is a rocking footrest so it allows you to place your feet at different angles to encourage circulation, So your feet don't have to be perfectly horizontal all of the time. You can rock it back and forth like a rocking chair which also encourages circulation and allows your muscles to move while sitting all day

For shorter people, it does help too so you can raise your chair higher so that your arms can be lower when you are typing, A lot of problems occur when people have their keyboard/mouse too high

I find having your feet on an angle is just more comfortable, period.

btw: There was a 30% off coupon the WHOLE summer at the humanscale site, and when the item was in-stock, I actually got it for $66. So I bought a second one. I bought the first one at Staples for 20% off

Does grand and toy ever offer coupons? I signed up for their email, hoping for something I can use to buy this.

For some reason they had it for $93 when I ordered. In the spring, the price of these things hovered around $110 at every retailer when supply was plentiful.

$173 is not really the regular price. But this deal at $75 is very good. I got lucky with my $66 price.
