I was looking for speakers and for sh*ts and giggles signed up to Grand and Toy to see what kind of a deal I could get via their member pricing on these. Long story short I scored these puppies for $220 all in. Confirmed still works - although the extra $10 off is hit and miss and YMMV - worst case scenario they are $205. Either way it's a steal for these speakers. They retail for $389 everywhere else (amazon currently has a special for 270). Please note it says "temporarily out of stock" - Grand and Toy places order with Edifier it seems. Anyway I got my speakers in 3 days.

This is what I did.

1. Created an account to get my 20% off coupon code and get member pricing

2. https://www.dealcatcher.com/grand---toy ... =997184562 for the $10 off sign up coupon - couldn't get it when I tried duplicating order today - but my buddy got it working.

Update - there is a new coupon that works for 10 off 19EMLWCM

end results speakers end up $187 all in.

On a side note, I am blown away by the sound and quality of these (titanium tweeter). Like I said steal for 200 bucks.

Cheers.

Did you have to do anything else to see member pricing? I've created an account, but the price I'm seeing is $293.80. 15% discount brings it to $249.73.

Once you add the 15% off the deal becomes 205. Go to check out. I confirmed it works just an hour ago.

look at the total on the check out side. It should say 205

Thanks. I see it now. Not having luck with the $10 off though. They call it a sign up coupon but aren't asking for an email address which is odd.

EDIT: I placed my order 10-15 minutes ago. The confirmation page doesn't give a confirmation number and no confirmation email as of yet. Hoping everything goes smoothly and that these are a noticeable improvement over my klipsch promedia 2.1s

Don't worry, same thing happened to me and my buddy. You will get it eventually. I got my speakers 3 days after. Order form just kept saying "processing" even when speakers arrived.

I've been considering these for a while.
Aye, these are fine speakers, too big for my setup though but I have read only glowing reviews. Glad the coupon worked for these! Enjoy

Try stacking with code 19EMLWCM for $10 off.

The page that I found it on said that expired at the end of 2019 and that it was for 10% off. I tried it, and it successfully gave me $10 off my order.

Sweet. I tried the same code on the Luna HD. $170 after code. NUTS! It would be a historical low for that speaker. Go crazy guys!!

Only thing i don't like about Edifier is no subwoofer output on their bookshelf speakers. Other than that, they are a solid choice in performance/$$.

How do these compare against the R2000DB? A lot of people bought them for $175 over the holidays. Is it worth upgrading?

I just noticed that these speakers do not come with grills. Seems like a strange choice for a set intended to be used on a computer desktop.

Thanks OP! Ordered. Used the $10 off coupon, plus got my 15% off for signing up and setting up an account.

It's funny, I thought Grand & Toy had gone out of business. Last shopped there when they had brick and mortar store at Center Point Mall at Yonge / Steeles in North York! 1990s?

Given that Staples forgot to include part of my last order (but charged me for it) and still hasn't delivered a computer monitor I ordered 4 weeks ago (delivery estimate 3-14 days) I think I'm gonna check out Grand and Toy more going forward. This was certainly a pleasant way to be come re-acquainted :)

Me too. Google says it is now an e-commerce subsidiary of Office Depot.
