I'm looking at a vacation at Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills Resort and Spa in Mexico. Just wondering if anyone has stayed there and your thoughts?

Stayed there about 2.5 years ago and loved it. The one downside is the beach being far away and requiring a shuttle....the sand and water conditions also aren't ideal for swimming.

I’ve read a lot of reviews on trip advisor and a common thing I’m seeing is it’s difficult to get reservations at A La carte restaurants with tipping Pryor to booking.

I personally cannot remember that being an issue. We did eat at the a la carte and enjoyed it. Be prepared to walk quite a bit though as there are tons of steep hills around the resort.
