I wouldn't have even come across the deal had Bethesda not made it impossible (near impossible? I couldn't figure it out nor could anyone in their own comment sections) to get the DLC if you originally purchased the game through Bethesda. Steam, no probs, have at it. Anyway, I have no idea if GMG is grey market or whatever. Don't care - I assume they had to purchase keys from Bethesda somehow or someone had to at some point. Anyhow, added bonus of tax free too (wait, should I feel guilty for avoiding my civic duty?). If you want the full season 1 pass which will get you another DLC later this year - it's 33.99, 15% off steam pricing and also tax free. I went with the season 1 pass. Doom Eternal itself is awesome but too hard for old man me to coordinate all of the powerups and parkour stuff - my 11 year old breezed through it, this was part of his birthday present. I thought Doom 2016 was the sweet spot. And the Wolfenstein chapters.

And just verified, the code provided from GMG is valid in the Bethesda launcher. Lame launch.

Should also note the Deluxe version of Doom Eternal is on sale at GMG for 60.47, includes the season 1 pass so base game comes out to about 26.50.

Not sure if this is a decent deal or not, I only own the base game on Steam as well. Just wanted to comment to say that GMG is absolutely not a grey market store. They're very well known and respected.

Aside from that, please put the price in the title.

Good to know. And what's the point of the sale price box in the post form if it doesn't tack that info on. Been a while since I've posted - added the price to the actual title.

Not if it's anything like Doom Eternal.

If you buy this on steam, requirement says you need to have Doom Eternal base game through steam as well. I seem to recall they announced base game was not needed but that's not what steam said. Lame they don't have some parity between steam/bethesda. Also super lame no cloud saves on Bethesda (last I checked - I set up a simlink to a one drive folder for settings, works great).
