I can’t seem to find replacement tines. Amazon, Grreenworks and Canadian Tire don’t show greenwork tines on their sites.

Great price!

I bought a Worx from CT for $130 (on sale from $190) and its an amazing tool, no regrets.

Great for people who care about keeping a healthy green lawn. (I discovered that I don't anymore as I cannot beat dandelions)

Any helpful RFD’ers experts in landscaping care to offer their two cents?

I see all the marketing that tells us we have to aerate, over-seed, top-dress, de-worm, weed, de-thatch, water and fertilize constantly, else be labelled as bad neighbours, but would be curious for an honest opinion on the need to de-thatch and how often.

Dethatching is more of an as-needed type of thing. Best way to check is to get a soil sample plug tool and check for the thickness of the layer of thatch on your lawn. A bit of thatch is good as it helps to maintain moisture levels. However too thick (1in or more) and you get watering problems where it won't penetrate the thatch and get to the roots well.
I did it twice last year to my lawn, but that was mostly because of years of neglect from a previous owner. I personally saw a significant improvement to my lawn (but that is very anecdotal evidence).

It's a tool that only would get used once, or possibly twice, a year.

I dethatch each spring just to get rid of the dead grass, thatch and snow mold. My normal approach is dethatch, if any areas have damage (rodent or dead patches) - top dress those with soil and seed and then fertilize once per month in the growing season 3-4 times total. The only downside is with my sprinkler system the lawn is thick and lush but needs mowing every 2-3 days.

They take a lot of power and often would be going over your lawn 2 times (perpendicular direction) to do a good job.
Not sure a battery-powered one would make sense unless it's one of those massive Ryobi packs being used in their new ride-on mowers. Even something like the 5ah 80V Greenworks battery likely wouldn't last long enough to get any significant area done.
The commercial dethatchers have decently large gas engines on them.

Ryan Knorr on YouTube uses this greenworks model and he seems to get great results.

I'm still contemplating if I should dethatch my wrecked lawn or should I scarify it with my sunjoe.
As soon as the temperature reaches somewhat ideal growth temperature, I'm gonna hit it with my sunjoe and hopefully it'll have a revival a few weeks later.
Also looking into maybe some better sprinkler system so the lawn can be watered at the ideal time vs 5-6pm when I come home from work.

Thanks OP. Only 5% GST charged (no PST) for shipping to BC.

Figure for the deal price, it basically breaks even if I do this myself once (vs hiring someone). Maintaining just a small lawn.

I always borrow my neighbours who has all the toys and I’m starting to feel bad.

I'm still waiting for the Ryobi ONE+ to come out, which takes two ONE+ batts in parallel... Until then whatever, lawn can just sit there. Grass is garbage anyway.
