Grow Lights for Veggies

Anyone have luck growing vegetables or herbs indoor? Just wondering where to buy some lights. Looked at Amazon but I don't think they are CSA approved. Home Depot has some but over $100. Anything reasonable in the $50-$80 range?

Cheapest ...

Find yourself some old fluorescent shop fixtures
https://www.homedepot.ca/product/lithon ... 1000803112
And then throw in some grow light tubes

We usually get our grow tubes @ Lowe’s, or another DIY Store

Next level
Costco’s LED Grow lights
Awesome when they are in stock (seasonal)

And top notch
MiracleGro & an Hydroponic AeroGarden

Awesome way to start plants indoor from seed
Then move onto something else as they mature into seedlings
Be that a set up under grow lights ... or moving plants outdoors

We been at this awhile, so we have a bit of everything going in the basement February / March thru to May / June
Great way to get ahead of our otherwise short growing season

The worst thing about grow lights can be the owner - me. Every year I planted to capacity with no thought to how to spread those plants as they grew. Evident lack of self control. Apart from that I did alright and I used industrial lights from second hand places along with a timer.
