I was referring to the general talk of people calling these new releases “investment” purchases.

With “investment properties”, it is interesting to watch the houses now listed in the Windfields area in NW Oshawa, around Simcoe and Britannia. Many of the listings pictures show no or minimal furniture, basic carpeting, are listed by out of town agents and almost certainly were purchased as investments.

Can anyone compare the purchase prices 2 years ago to the current asking prices? How much “profit” will be made after selling expenses and taxes (IF they can sell close to the asking prices)?

Does they know what they are getting? or the market is recovering nicely?

My townhouse in Oshawa has officially hit 100% price increase in only 2.5 years...it's really madness...
RFD is love. RFD is life. I wish I had an RFDer for a wife.

Has anyone heard anything about the condo complex Universal City Condos in Pickering??
